Realizing that that not every individual or organization can afford legal representation, at Pryor Cashman we encourage all of our attorneys, whether partners or associates, to give back by working with causes they are passionate about. All such time spent on pro bono legal activities counts as billable hours for all purposes, including eligibility for bonuses. Partners supervise and work with all associates performing pro bono services.

We also support our attorneys in stepping-up for leadership roles in charitable, cultural and civic organizations in their own communities and in those communities with the greatest need for volunteer and pro bono legal services. We are a proud member of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, which refers pro bono matters to our attorneys in diverse practice areas, including both litigation and non-litigation matters.
