Sarah E. Bell is an associate in Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group. Sarah has broad experience in complex commercial litigation, especially litigation involving contract disputes and real estate related matters. She has also handled white collar criminal matters and litigation involving securities fraud, shareholder derivative claims, partnership disputes and patent claims. Sarah has experience in both state and federal courts as well as in appeals, arbitration and mediation. 

Sarah has devoted time to many pro bono matters, including:

  • A criminal appeal before the N.Y. Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, which she wrote and argued
  • The successful representation of a client at trial before Judge Martinez-Perez of the Bronx Family Court in a protective order and child custody proceeding
  • The continuing representation of a client before Chief Judge Knipps of the Manhattan Family Court in a child custody proceeding

Sarah is a 2004 graduate of Duke University School of Law, where she was a Public Interest Law Foundation Fellowship Recipient. She received her B.A. from Duke University in 2001. Sarah majored in Public Policy and was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, the national honor society.
