Erich C. Carey

Erich Carey is an associate in the Litigation, Intellectual Property and Entertainment, Media & Communications Groups. Erich joined Pryor Cashman in 2010 after working for the firm in the summer of 2008.

Erich attended Fordham University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal, received the Thomas F. Reddy, Jr. Prize as the graduating student with the highest grades in courses in intellectual property, and was awarded runner-up in the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition for preparation of an outstanding paper dealing with copyright law.

During law school, Erich worked as an extern with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Paul A. Crotty in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
