Melissa Fleming is an associate in the Corporate Group and practices in general corporate matters including mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, securities, corporate finance, and corporate formation and governance. She has assisted with the formation of a private equity fund which has made approximately $40 million in investments in late stage biotechnology companies. Melissa was also involved in the acquisition of a public company that is the largest franchisee of a popular restaurant chain.
Melissa has worked on matters for clients in a wide range of industries, such as apparel, entertainment and media, healthcare services, mining, real estate and restaurants.
Melissa is a 2005 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, where she was ADR and Law Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and a participant in the Fordham University School of Law Tax Litigation Clinic.
