
Stephen F. Huff is a senior litigation partner with responsibilities in a wide spectrum of cases. He has been a trial lawyer with Pryor Cashman since its formative years, specializing in copyright, trademark, unfair competition, theft of ideas and other areas of intellectual property. Steve has also engaged in criminal defense and has obtained successful verdicts in federal and state courts. Steve has argued numerous appeals and also engages in transactional work including clearance evaluation for insurers and private businesses regarding errors and omissions coverage.
Steve has served as an elected judge in the New York State court system for the past 32 years and after reelection on January 1, 2008, continues to serve a ninth consecutive four-year term. Steve was previously appointed as a Special Prosecutor for the lower courts in the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
Steve participates in national conventions as a speaker and panelist regarding current developments in copyright, trademark and unfair competition.
In 2008, the Legal 500 named Pryor Cashman as one of the top U.S. firms in the fields of Intellectual Property and Media, and singled out Steve for his accomplishments in those areas of the law.
