Nicole E. Kaplan

Nicole E. Kaplan represents and counsels clients in trademark litigation, enforcement and prosecution. Nicole has extensive experience pursuing, litigating and resolving misuses and misappropriations of clients’ trademarks worldwide, including interfacing with federal and state regulatory and law enforcement agencies and organizing seizures of counterfeit merchandise. Nicole also regularly:

• Prepares and negotiates various trademark-related agreements
• Prosecutes domestic and international trademark applications
• Represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
• Resolves domain name and internet-related issues, including matters relating to the UDRP, from both an enforcement and infringement perspective
• Searches and clears trademarks for use and registration

Nicole has also developed trademark enforcement programs for numerous corporations and organized training seminars on behalf of those corporations for private investigators and law enforcement agencies.
