Barry C. Landsman

Barry Landsman is responsible for multiple aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing. His responsibilities include:

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts for purchases and sales of residential condominiums, cooperative apartments, private homes and vacant land
• Draft, review and negotiate real estate broker commission agreements and contracts 
• Formation of  limited liability corporations and promulgation of 1031 exchanges
• Draft, review and negotiate construction and architect agreements on behalf of owners with architects and contractors
• Review, negotiate and draft loan documents for residential mortgage closings
• Due diligence for real estate acquisitions and sales, including zoning and variance appeal hearings, review of building plans and permits, alteration agreements, corporate documents and minutes, offering plans, engineer reports, environmental impact studies, title reports, property surveys, and trust and estate documents
• Review, negotiate and close DEC permits, including bulkheading and building permits addressing wetlands and conservation easements
