Thomas J. Malmud

Thomas J. Malmud's practice is concentrated in the area of real estate development including acquisition, construction and financing of major commercial, residential and mixed use projects in New York and New Jersey (as well as in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia), joint venture work, ground leasing and loan workouts. Recent transactions include the acquisition, construction financing and submission to condominium regimes of two mixed use commercial and residential projects in the Soho area of New York.  Representative matters include:

• Acquisition, sales and financing (construction, permanent and mezzanine) for residential condominium and commercial projects, including shopping centers, in New York and out of state
• Preparation of architectural and construction contracts for condominium and commercial projects
• Preparation of joint venture and operating agreements for developers and investors in condominium and commercial project
