"The summer program
was an invaluable part of my development as an attorney. Being part of a small
class meant I really got to know the partners and associates at Pryor, and I
was able to get a real sense of the firm culture.”
Ross Bagley, Associate, Litigation Group, Summer Class of 2007
The environment at Pryor Cashman is informal, eclectic, friendly. Office doors are open, partners and associates mingle, lawyers and staff greet each other by first name.
Our summer associates become a part of our firm on their first day at our offices. From virtually the moment they walk in the door, they get involved in real cases, real deals and real lawyering – work that demonstrates exactly what it’s like to be a practicing attorney at our firm.
We hire summer associates expecting that they will return to Pryor Cashman as lawyers, and typically ask just three to five attorneys to join our summer associate program. With only a handful of slots available each year, we look for likeminded talent from the outset, students with exceptional aptitude whose attitude and approach resonate with our own.
"My summer at Pryor Cashman was engaging and rewarding. The partners and associates made every effort
to integrate me into real cases and deals, while also making sure that I
experienced the best of the firm’s unique and warm social and cultural
atmosphere. My summer position at Pryor
Cashman was the primary reason that I returned to the firm after graduation,
and also prepared me very well for my work and life as a full time associate."
Benjamin Akley, Associate, Litigation Group, Summer Class of 2009
