Position: 2010 or 2011 Corporate Associate

Location: New York

Pryor Cashman LLP seeks a Corporate Associate from class years 2010 to 2011 with experience in general corporate work, including M&A, private equity, public & private offerings, fund formation and/or SEC reporting. Candidates with some or all of this experience are encouraged to apply. A high tier law school, strong academic record and large firm background are preferred but not required. NY Bar admission is required.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and train under a number of Corporate Partners and Senior Associates on a wide range of corporate matters. The candidate should expect regular and direct Partner and client contact and should be willing to assume increasing responsibility.

The transactional experience of Pryor Cashman’s Corporate Group encompasses all types of domestic and international corporate matters, from private placements and public offerings of securities to transnational mergers and acquisitions to complex joint ventures. Spanning a wide variety of industries (including media/entertainment, technology, financial services, pharmaceutical, etc.), Pryor Cashman represents institutional and entrepreneurial clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, with special focus on companies in the middle market.

Position: 2011 or 2012 Litigation Associate

Location: New York

Pryor Cashman LLP seeks a class of 2011 or 2012 associate with substantial litigation experience in a New York law firm. Firm litigation practice includes complex commercial, intellectual property, real estate and securities litigation. Excellent professional and academic credentials are required. Top tier law school preferred; New York bar admission required. Top-notch research, analytical, writing and advocacy skills a must. The candidate must have substantial experience in complex business litigation including motion practice, drafting pleadings, and drafting and responding to discovery requests. The ability to work effectively with staff, attorneys and clients in a team-oriented, collegial environment is required.
