Richard Levy, Chairman of Pryor Cashman's Bankruptcy Group, has written an informative article entitled "Owners Can Minimize Tenant Default Risks." The article, which appears in the May 2007 issue of Property & The Law, explains how a landlord can minimize the financial risk of a tenant's default and, in the event the tenant goes into bankrupcy, how the landlord can maximize recovery of lost rent.
