Pryor Cashman's Real Estate Group have been selected for inclusion in The Legal 500 – Real Estate. Partners Ronald Kremnitzer and Wayne Heicklen, Co-Chairmen of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group, as well as Eric Woldenberg, Chairman of Pryor Cashman’s Tax Group, also received special recognition.  

Kremnitzer, Heicklen and Woldenberg, along with Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group in general, were nominated by corporate counsel as being among the leading real estate lawyers in the United States. The publication notes that "[c]ombined with about five litigators active in the real estate market, the practice focuses on representing entrepreneurs in the real estate world, development and leasing work for large retailers, and high-end residential real estate work – apartments bought in New York at the $20m level."

The Legal 500 emphasized the praise and appreciation that clients of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group have for their attorneys, quoting one: "They are the best. They specialize in service and they outperform the other firms with their attention to each client. They also have a large enough team to specialize in many areas, but are small enough to make you feel like and important client." The Legal 500 also noted that another major leasing client singled out the Real Estate Group’s "creativity and talents" and stressed "the added attraction of having complementary real estate litigators on hand."

The Legal 500 listed some of the firm’s clients, including "well-known restaurant chains, retailers such as the ubiquitous chemist Duane Reade, and the legendary Martha Stewart, as well as acquisitions work for major funds such as Praedium."

After the Legal 500 went to press, Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group was augmented by the addition of Bradley Kaufman, a noted leasing expert who focuses on commercial, office and industrial leasing transactions.
