Pryor Cashman LLP is pleased to announce that Juergen R. Ostertag has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate Group. Juergen comes to Pryor Cashman from Piliero Goldstein Kogan & Miller LLP, where he was a partner.

Juergen has developed extensive experience in cross-border transactions as a result of practicing law in the U.S. and in Germany, and working within the legal construct of the European Union.  Juergen leverages this unique experience to provide sophisticated solutions to European companies operating in the U.S. and U.S. clients doing business in Germany. His clients include leaders in a broad range of industries doing business worldwide, including public and privately held software makers, German and Swiss based software consultancy companies, German automobile parts and components suppliers, renewable energy providers and their suppliers, and private wealth management companies and family offices.   

Juergen completed his German legal studies at the Eberhard-Karls University of Tuebingen in 1990, and received his Juris Doctor in 1993, cum laude, from New England School of Law, where he was a New England Scholar (1991-93) and was awarded the Trustee’s Scholarship as being the best in his class for the academic year 1991-92.
