Partner Bradley Kaufman Speaks About Leasing Issues at NYSBA Luncheon

Pryor Cashman Real Estate Partner Bradley A. Kaufman spoke on November 13, 2007 at a luncheon program held by the Commercial Leasing Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Real Estate Property Law Section.

At the luncheon at the Penn Club, Kaufman spoke on the topic of “Resolving Issues in Leasing Retail Space in Mixed Use Buildings in New York City.” The issues addressed by Kaufman included a landlord’s quality standard for tenant buildout; a tenant’s right to make significant alterations; real estate taxes; a broad use clause versus a landlord’s restrictions; assignment and subletting; and hours of operation.

Kaufman is the Co-Chair of the Committee on Commercial Leasing.
