Pryor Cashman's Bob Stein Acts As Counsel To Oscar Winning And Oscar Nominated Films
February 25, 2008On February 24, 2008, Taxi to the Dark Side, a documentary motion picture about the use of torture by the United States at its prisons in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Pryor Cashman’s Bob Stein served as legal counsel on the film.
Stein also served as counsel to another film nominated this year for Best Documentary Feature, No End In Sight. This movie, about the planning and execution of the American occupation of Iraq, was named one of the Ten Best Movies of 2007 by Richard Corliss of Time Magazine.
