Pryor Cashman, Bucking Trend In Industry, Continues To Hire New Attorneys

On January 22, 2008, an article appeared in The New York Sun entitled “Fearing Recession, Law Firms Tighten Belts.” The article by Thomas Fernandez notes how some firms have slowed their hiring process, while others have actually started to downsize.
Contrary to this trend, the article, quoting Managing Partner Ronald Shechtman, notes that Pryor Cashman hired five attorneys during the last half of 2007 and plans to hire at least that many in the first half of this year.
