Partner Mark Jacobs Rejoins Pryor Cashman, Appears On CNBC To Discuss Corporate Bankruptcies
CNBCPryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Mark Jacobs rejoined the firm as a partner in the Bankruptcy,Reorganization and Creditors’ Rights Group on January 1, 2008.
Jacobs appeared on CNBC on Friday, January 25, in a segment entitled “Upside to the Downside.” In the segment, Jacobs and Anthony Baldo of The Deal discussed banks and law firms that most benefited from corporate bankruptcies in the last quarter.
Jacobs advises a broad range of clients on strategies to protect and advance their interests affected by U.S. and foreign bankruptcy and insolvency laws. In addition, he frequently represents clients in all phases of related litigation. His clients include hedge funds, private equity funds and other financial institutions, as well as debtors, trustees, official and ad hoc committees, and other parties involved in bankruptcies, restructurings, turnarounds and workouts.
Jacobs’ current engagements include representing the Chapter 11 Trustee of a nuclear waste disposal company, and investor groups in distressed energy, financial services and healthcare companies.
Prior to rejoining Pryor Cashman LLP in 2008, Mr. Jacobs was the founding partner of Jacobs Partners LLC, with offices in Connecticut, New York and St. Louis.
