Matrimonial Attorney Judith Poller Joins Pryor Cashman LLP – Will Co-Chair Expanded Family Law Group
December 30, 2008New York, NY, December 30, 2008 –Pryor Cashman LLP today announced that Judith L. Poller – founder of the Matrimonial Law Practice at Dreier LLP – will join the firm as a partner and co-chair of the Family Law Group, effective January 5, 2009.
Poller’s practice is focused on providing counsel on a broad range of matrimonial and family law matters such as divorce, child custody and access, spousal and child support, paternity, and prenuptial, postnuptial and separation agreements, including same sex partner cohabitation agreements. She has extensive trial and appellate experience in addition to being trained in mediation and collaborative law.

Poller has been widely quoted as a family law expert by the local and national media on matters involving family law. She has served as a lecturer for the New York State Bar Association – Family Law Section and has chaired several seminars for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Poller is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a member of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of the City of New York. She is also active in the New York State Bar Association Family Law Committee, where she is a member of the Committee for Public Service and Education. She also served on the State Bar’s Trusts, Estates and Surrogate’s Court Committee. She was named to the New York Super Lawyers’ list in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Earlier in her career, Poller was a partner in the New York office of Bryan Cave. She previously served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ms. Poller received a J.D. from Northeastern University in 1983 and a B.A. from Clark University in 1980. She is a member of the Bar of the States of New York and Massachusetts and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
