The Legal 500 US 2009 has once again named Pryor Cashman as one of the top Media, Technology and Telecoms firms in the United States, citing its prowess in the film and music industries.

According to the publication, which obtains its information by speaking with corporate counsel throughout the country, Pryor Cashman “meets all expectations when providing clients with a comprehensive entertainment service.” The firm’s “impressive group” of clients includes MGM, EMI and Sony BMG.

Legal 500 US 2009 writes that Pryor Cashman is “well-known for its film financing knowledge” and that “the group is renowned as having ‘brains and experience’.” As noted in the publication, “recent matters for the ‘cool and strong’ team include financing and production deals for MGM, and acquiring music catalogs from Universal Music Group for ABP Investments.”

The publication also singled out two attorneys from Pryor Cashman, stating that Entertainment Partner Karen Robson is singled out by clients as “the very best,” while Corporate Partner Stephen Goodman is valued by clients for his “sound and comprehensive counsel.”
