The new James Patterson and Maxine Paetro novel involving the Women's Murder Club, 7th Heaven, was released in February 2008 and was recently No. 2 on The New York Times Bestseller List. As in the three previous No. 1 best-sellers in the series, 4th of July, The 5th Horseman, and The 6th Target, Pryor Cashman partner Philip Hoffman acted as a legal consultant on the book.

The Women's Murder Club is also an ABC weekly dramatic series..

Hoffman receives a special acknowledgment in the front of 7th Heaven, where Patterson and Paetro note their "thanks and gratitude to these top professionals, who were so generous with their time and expertise."
