Pryor Cashman Partner Howard Siegel To Present Steven Van Zandt at ABA Annual Meeting
August 24, 2009The American Bar Association’s Forum on Entertainment & Sports Industries will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City from October 8-10, 2009. On Friday, October 9, 2009, long-time Pryor Cashman client Steven Van Zandt will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon scheduled for that day.
Van Zandt will be introduced by Pryor Cashman Senior Entertainment Partner Howard Siegel, who has represented Van Zandt on a variety of matters over the years.
As a founding member of the E Street Band, a solo recording artist, producer, social activist, actor, host of the syndicated radio show Little Steven’s Underground Garage, creator of two 24 hour channels on SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio, CEO of Wicked Cool Records, and acclaimed for his role in HBO’s The Sopranos series, Steven Van Zandt (Little Steven) wears many hats and has a uniquely eclectic entertainment industry experience.
Van Zandt's groundbreaking two-hour syndicated radio show Little Steven’s Underground Garage is the most successful syndicated rock radio show in the US, reaching over 1 million listeners each week broadcasting in over 200 domestic markets and over 45 international territories some via the Voice of America and American Forces Network.
In the early 1980’s, Steven spearheaded the hugely successful anti-apartheid Sun City project and established the Solidarity Foundation to support the sovereignty of indigenous people. He has been honored by the United Nations for his human rights achievements.
