Despite harsh economic times for the restaurant industry generally, Pryor Cashman’s Restaurant, Food and Beverage Practice clients continue to thrive and benefit from our wide-ranging experience in the industry. Our clients and some of the work we have recently performed for them include:

Aristocrat Partners, LLC: We assisted our client in its successful raising of equity capital to open Hotel Griffou, a fine dining restaurant at 19 West 9th Street in Greenwich Village.

Batali-Bastianich Hospitality Group: We represented Batali in negotiating the lease to bring the Eataly Italian food retail center concept to New York City.

David Burke: We were involved in the acquisition of the space on East 62nd Street for David Burke’s new seafood restaurant, Fishtail, and also assisted him in the successful negotiation of a separation agreement with his former partner in David Burke Townhouse (formerly davidburke&donatella).

Hill Country Barbecue and Market: We represent Hill Country in all of its day-to-day operations and were involved in the lease for a second location in Washington, D.C.

Ian Chalermkittichai: We have represented this celebrity chef in various new ventures after his separation from Kittichai Restaurant.

Nanoosh Mediterranean Hummus Bar: We assisted Nanoosh in opening up a second location on the Upper East Side.

Sam Hazen: We have represented this celebrity chef, formerly of Tao Restaurant (the highest grossing independent restaurant in the country), on various matters.

Scott Conant: We represent Mr. Conant, whose New York City restaurant Scarpetta received a 3-star review from The New York Times, in a variety of matters and negotiated the agreements to open additional Scarpetta restaurants in Miami and other locations.
