Legal UpdateBy February 1, 2012 all private-sector New York employers will be required to provide each of their employees with a written notice pertaining to pay rates and pay dates. The Wage Theft Protection Act contains numerous wage and hour notice requirements that must be complied with by all private-sector New York employers. Employers that fail to provide the required notices stand to incur significant fines.
