May 24, 2012The new James Patterson and Maxine Paetro novel involving the Women’s Murder Club, 11th Hour, was released on May 7, 2012 and is now No. 1 on The New York Times Hardcover Bestseller List.
As in the seven previous No. 1 best-sellers in the series [4th of July, The 5th Horseman, The 6th Target, 7th Heaven, The 8th Confession, The 9th Judgment and 10th Anniversary], Pryor Cashman Litigation Partner Philip Hoffman acted as a legal consultant on the book. In two of the previous books, a recurring character, a defense attorney, was named after Hoffman.
Also consulting with Patterson and Paetro on 11th Hour was Pryor Cashman Litigation and Family Law Partner Steven Rabinowitz, who also had a character, a judge, named after him in an earlier book in the series.
Hoffman and Rabinowitz receive a special acknowledgment in the back of 11th Hour, where Patterson and Paetro note their “thanks and gratitude to these top professionals who were so generous with their valuable time and expertise.”
