Pryor Cashman attorney F. Robert Stein will speak at "Writing the Legal Thriller," a seminar to be held by Law Seminars International at The Renaissance Seattle Hotel in Seattle, Washington on November 10, 2008.

Stein, who is celebrating his 21st year at Pryor Cashman, counsels and represents authors, literary agents, book publishers and others in publishing negotiations and disputes. He drafts and negotiates author contracts, literary agency agreements, collaboration agreements and other book publishing agreements. Stein also reviews book manuscripts prior to publication for libel, copyright and other potential problems. In addition, he represents film producers in the pre-release review of screenplays and films and assists insurers of film and television productions in determining the insurability of various productions.

At the seminar, Stein will speak about "Demystifying the Book Contract." Best-selling mystery author Jeffrey Deaver is also on the program.
