Partner Howard Siegel To Co-Chair and Speak At PLI Seminar “Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2010”
March 15, 2010Pryor Cashman Entertainment Partner Howard Siegel will once again Co-Chair the Practicing Law Institute’s Advanced Seminar on Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2010. The seminar runs from March 15-17, 2010 at the PLI New York Center and will also be on live webcast.
In addition to his Co-Chair duties, Siegel will be an introductory speaker on all three days of the seminar and will speak on the afternoon of March 16th about Music Publishing. The topics to be discussed include:
- Types of music publishing agreements
- Sources of income
- Negotiation of a songwriter-music publishing agreement
- Role of performing and mechanical rights
