Partner Howard Siegel Co-Chairs and Speaks At PLI Seminar “Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2010”
March 15, 2010Pryor Cashman Entertainment Partner Howard Siegel once again Co-Chaired the Practicing Law Institute’s Advanced Seminar on Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2010. The seminar ran from March 15-17, 2010 at the PLI New York Center and was also webcast live.
In addition to his Co-Chair duties, Siegel was an introductory speaker on all three days of the seminar and spoke on the afternoon of March 16th about Music Publishing. The topics discussed included:
- Types of music publishing agreements
- Sources of income
- Negotiation of a songwriter-music publishing agreement
- Role of performing and mechanical rights
