Pryor Cashman’s F. Robert Stein has for the past few years been writing columns for The Noose, the periodic newsletter of the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of America.

In his column, entitled “Ask The Lawyer,” Stein, who has over three decades of experience in publishing, answers legal questions of concern to writers, including questions about copyright, defamation, and publishing contracts.
