The Winter 2008 Issue of Bloomberg Corporate Law Journal features an article by partner Stephen M. Goodman entitled "Owning the Record – Whose E-Document Is It Anyway?" 

The article discusses the implications under New York law of recent cases concerning whether a departing employee has the right to assert a personal property interest in emails and contacts maintained on an employer’s electronic record-keeping and email systems.
