SEC Delays Vote on Proxy Access Rules and Grants Extension for Compliance with Section 404(b) of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act

In October 2009, the Securities and Exchange Commission indicated that it likely would not vote this year on the proxy access proposals that it issued in June 2009, and extended the deadline for smaller public companies to comply with the requirements of Section 404(b) of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
