On November 30, 2016, Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme will present a panel entitled "Networking and Relationship-Building" as part of Brooklyn Law School's "Learning From Practice" seminar for first-time student externs.

Dyan's program will explore a range of topics such as:

• What networking should consist of for law students and new graduates;
• How to prepare for an event or outing which offers the opportunity for professional networking;
• Effective networking strategies, including conversation starters and ways to overcome the appearance of shyness or insincerity;
• Networking "no-nos"; and 
• How to successfully follow-up after you've met someone you'd like to add to your network of contacts.
