Partner Joshua Zuckerberg, a member of Pryor Cashman’s Labor and Employment Group, was interviewed by Law360.com for its April 21, 2011 article “New York's Wage Law Gives Workers More Ammo.”

The article discusses ways in which the recently enacted New York Wage Theft Prevention Act, which took effect on April 9th, may encourage wage-and-hour litigation by giving workers a road map for challenging pay practices and raising potential damages.

Zuckerberg, who represents both plaintiffs and employers, notes, “the WTPA encourages workers to understand how they are paid, and will put more information in their hands about their wages and hours, which will better enable them to challenge their employers’ pay practices if necessary.”
