Partner Joshua Zuckerberg Speaks to TheStreet.com About Employees Being Fired After Giving 2 Weeks Notice

Partner Joshua Zuckerberg was interviewed by TheStreet.com for its article, “Can I Be Fired After Giving 2 Weeks' Notice?,” which asks about legal protection in the event an employer fires and employee after he or she has already submitted two weeks' notice.
According to Zuckerberg, who’s extensive practice covers the entire spectrum of labor and employment issues, “nine times out of 10, an employer could get away with terminating you after you have given notice.” He further explains, “the main exception would be if there is specific language in your employment manual that guarantees you can't be fired after giving your notice, but most manuals are not that specific.”
