Zuckerberg Discusses NFLPA Labor Talks in Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal

The May 26-30, 2008 edition of Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal reported that an effort to unseat NFLPA Executive Director Gene Upshaw emerged last week, a development that came as the union and the National Football Leagure are staring each other down over the current collective-bargaining agreement.

Pryor Cashman Partner Joshua Zuckerberg was interviewed by Street & Smith's and told the publication: “It is very important for a union leadership to have a relationship with management. Generally speaking, you have to know how to grease the wheels and get a deal done.  And if he is leaving in the middle of something and a new leader is coming in, that could change the dynamics.”
