Partner Robert deBrauwere, co-chair of Pryor Cashman's Digital Media Practice Group, moderated the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law panel discussion Blogging Without Logging FTC Lawsuits, to be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the law school.
Sponsored by the Intellectual Property Law Society of Cardozo, the panel explored how to address and manage compliance issues while addressing the intersecting, sometimes competing, interests of the FTC in protecting consumers in the social media sphere, businesses who are promoting brands via social media, and bloggers trying to maintain credibility and commoditize their influence while avoiding legal liability.
