Pryor Cashman’s Stephen Rodner Named Chair of NY State Bar’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section
Pryor Cashman is pleased to congratulate senior counsel, Stephen B. Rodner on his election to chair of the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He most recently served as vice-chair of the Section, which is comprised of 28 committees and more than 1,700 members. Rodner will serve a two-year term in this leadership position.
On his new role, Rodner said, "I’m excited for this opportunity and proud to lead this Section dedicated to addressing the substantive issues affecting the entertainment, arts and sports arenas through forums, legislative activity and other communication such as its website and journal."
Rodner is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Entertainment, Media and Sport Practice Group in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on transactional matters in all areas of the entertainment field involving theatre, film, television, home video, Internet and e-commerce. Rodner is a 22-year member of the New York State Bar Association and has also previously co-chaired the Section’s Committee on Motion Pictures.
Rodner is a graduate of Columbia College and earned his law degree from New York University Law School.
