Fans of the 1998 cult classic, The Big Lebowski, can rejoice: the much-anticipated spin-off, entitled Going Places, is currently filming in New York.

Pryor Cashman partner Adam Mehr, a member of the firm’s Media + Entertainment and Intellectual Property Groups, represents Paul-Dominique Vacharasinthu, a producer and financer of the film.  Mehr negotiated the co-financing agreement with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment on Vacharasinthu’s behalf.

Going Places is directed by John Turturro, who will also reprise his role as “Jesus Quintana,” a/k/a/ “The Jesus,” the memorable, hairnet-wearing, bowling champion from The Big Lebowski.  Susan Sarandon, Bobby Cannavale and Audrey Tatou have signed on to star in the film, with Jon Hamm set to play “Paul-Dominque,” a hairdresser / owner of the eponymous salon.
