London Family Sells NYC Building to JV Backed by Former Yankee
The fourteen-story Allen House on East 51st Street between First and Second Avenues was recently sold to a joint venture between former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez’s investment firm A-Rod Corp., real estate agency Modlin Group, and Stonehenge NYC’s Ofer Yardeni.
Partner Dennis Sughrue of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group represented the sellers, the London family, in this $66.2 million transaction. Prior to this deal, the apartment building remained in London family ownership for over fifty years.
