2018 Trademark Update
On March 6, 2018, Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme will moderate a program presented by NYIPLA entitled, "2018 Trademark Update: A Discussion with a USPTO Policy Maker and a TTAB Decision Maker," to be held at Pryor Cashman's New York office.
Featured panelists include the Honorable David Mermelstein, Administrative Trademark Judge at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and Colleen Kearney, Attorney Advisor with the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Trademark Examination Policy, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mermelstein and Kearney will provide insights on recent trends in examination, practitioner tips and guidance on the use of registrations as evidence.
