On January 12, 2017, Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme will moderate a CLE-eligible panel presented by the New York Intellectual Property Law Association ("NYIPLA") entitled "Understanding the Upcoming Changes to the Trademark Rules and Practice."
Finguerra-DuCharme will be joined by Wendy Cohen of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Colleen Kearney of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to discuss the new rules concerning examination procedures, inter partes proceedings and changes to the fee schedules which are set to take effect on January 14, 2017.
