On November 13, 2017, Partner William Charron, Co-Chair of Pryor Cashman's Art Law practice, will be a featured speaker at The National Arts Club's (NAC) presentation of "Real Fake: The Art, Life & Crimes of Elmyr de Hory.” The film, created by Jeff Oppenheim, is a feature-length documentary that looks into the crimes of one of the most prolific art forgers of the last century—Elmyr de Hory (1906-1976).

Charron and his fellow panelists will offer an inside perspective on the imposition of forgery on the art market and how they apply provenance, connoisseurship and forensics to examine and ferret out forgeries, particularly the works of master forger Elmyr de Hory.

The event is open to non-NAC members, but space is limited. To learn more or to register, please visit here.
