1st Pitch Life Sciences is an initiative sponsored by Mid Atlantic Bio Angels (MABA), a life sciences-focused angel investor group co-founded by Goodman to provide funding for early-state biotech companies. These events, which occur approximately every two months, offer biotech entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their company to a live audience and get advice from panelists with life sciences industry experience and expertise. Audience participants rate the presenting companies and choose a “Best in Show” presenter.
