Pryor Cashman recently represented Genesis Capital, LLC in connection with a direct investment into its management company by investment funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. The firm also represented Genesis, a California-based investment manager whose investment vehicles focus on commercial loans in residential real estate markets, in securing an investment commitment of up to $250 million by an affiliate of Oaktree into investment vehicles managed by Genesis.

Partner Bertrand Fry, co-chair of Pryor Cashman’s Investment Management Group and a member of the Corporate Group, represented Genesis in the transactions with Oaktree.
