On November 8, 2017, Partner Brad D. Rose, Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Intellectual Property Group, was honored at Delivering Good’s (f/k/a K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers) Annual Gala at the Museum of Natural History in New York City. More than 700 attendees gathered to recognize Rose and his fellow nominees, including entrepreneur and reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, for their outstanding contributions to fighting poverty.

Per WWD, in accepting his award, Rose said he was humbled by Delivering Good’s extraordinary achievements, which it manages to accomplish “on a shoestring budget, [while] delivering goods at light speed to those in need.” Rose recalled an event in September 2017 which crystallized the organization’s impact: while distributing character-themed backpacks filled with school supplies to kindergarteners, he noticed one of the students was fixated on the hang tag. “Look, a label. It means it’s new,” she said. She then asked Rose if she could bring one home to her little brother.

By collecting donated new merchandise, Delivering Good provides companies with a simple and effective way to help millions of children, adults and families facing poverty and disaster each year.

The 2017 gala raised more than $1.8 million in donations.
