Pryor Cashman Hosts Chinese Guests of the U.S. Department of State for Group Discussion About Intellectual Property Rights

On March 26th, 2013, at the request of the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program, Pryor Cashman hosted a group of Chinese dignitaries at the firm’s New York office to discuss intellectual property rights issues.
Pryor Cashman Partner Jim Klaiber, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, moderated the discussion which focused on U.S. patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws and how they may be used to protect inventions and businesses.
The distinguished participants from the People’s Republic of China are current or emerging leaders in government and the law who specialize in intellectual property matters.
