Enforcement Remedies to Combat Default

Share This Page:

Judith L. Poller, Co-Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Family Law Group, has written an article, with Associate Elizabeth S. Warner, entitled “Enforcement Remedies to Combat Default.” The article was published in the August, 2012 edition of The Matrimonial Strategist, a national journal for family law practitioners.

When divorcing parties enter into a settlement agreement or when a court issues a decision distributing the parties’ assets and awarding support, attorneys are frequently faced with client requests to enforce their rights to receive the assets and/or support awarded in the judgment.  In their article, Poller and Warner explore the various enforcement remedies available and when applicable.
