Elizabeth Warner is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Family Law, Litigation and Private Client Groups.
Elizabeth has practiced Family Law since she started as an associate at Pryor Cashman in 2008. Over the years, she has advised many dozens of clients in the negotiation of their prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, divorce settlement agreements, and child support/custody agreements. She also has ample experience representing clients in court through all stages of litigation, including motion practice and trial.
She has received formal training both as a mediator at the prestigious Divorce and Family Mediation Center, LLC, and as a trial attorney at the nationally recognized Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, Texas. Elizabeth’s ability to wear both hats, both as a mediator and a trial lawyer, enables her to advise her clients on the spectrum of different strategies to pursue and the range of outcomes to expect.
Elizabeth has the good fortune to practice Family Law in New York City, where her clients have diverse backgrounds, careers, and financial holdings. She is well-versed in dividing complex financial assets, constructing and de-constructing trusts and business entities, and creating support packages that work for both parties.
While in law school, Elizabeth interned for Judge Charles E. Ramos in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and for Judge Andrew J. Peck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She was a summer associate at Pryor Cashman in 2007.
