Pryor Cashman client Outerlight Entertainment, the media investment firm formerly known as First Look Entertainment, has acquired Bleecker Street Media, a leading independent film distributor. Outerlight’s acquisition of Bleecker will provide the distributor with long-term capital and additional resources to support its growth.

Outerlight’s portfolio includes companies such as Topic Studios and Puzzle Pictures, as well as investments in MHz Choice and Passionflix and other targeted investments and joint ventures.

The Pryor Cashman team was led by Michael Weinsier, Co-Chair of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practices and a member of the firm’s nationally recognized Corporate Group and Investment Management Practice.
