2017 Interlaw Annual Global Meeting
Taking place in the heart of New York City, the focus of Interlaw’s 2017 Annual Global Meeting (AGM) will be “The Future of Law.”
In the city that never sleeps, Interlaw delegates should stock up on this precious commodity before joining us for our 2017 meeting, which promises to be fast-paced, informative and futuristic.
The current pace of change in the legal sector is unprecedented and the opportunities for elite independent law firms who embrace those changes are manifest. Our AGM this year will focus on some of those changes and our discussions will be centered on how those opportunities can benefit both our firms and our network.
The program will feature three leaders of industry, including Andrew Stern, The Perelman Fellow at Columbia University’s Center for Business, Law and Public Policy. Andrew is also President Emeritus of the 2.2 million member Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and has been featured on CNN, 60 Minutes and the covers of the NY Times Magazine, Fortune and Business Week. They will be joined by John Alber, ILTA Futurist (and Retired Bryan Cave Partner) and Albie Bollard of the McKinsey Global Institute, who will provide delegates with insightful commentary on workforce composition, the future of business, innovative design thinking, and the effects of exponential change, amongst other topics. We hope that these interactive discussions will fascinate and scintillate our delegates in contemplating the future workplace, the future of law and in considering what the “new normal” will look like for their own firms and our network in the years to come.
During your stay with us, delegates and guests will also be treated, in true Interlaw fashion, to the many sights and sounds of this famous city. We look forward to welcoming you to the Big Apple in October 2017.
