Saady to Speak at NYU Sports Law Colloquium
Pryor Cashman lawyer Nick Saady will be speaking on a panel at the NYU Law Sports Law Association’s 14th Annual Sports Law Colloquium.
Nick’s panel “Legal Challenges in International Sports” will discuss legal challenges faced by both international pro- and college-athletes, as well as the legal and practical issues around emerging sports leagues — canvassing intellectual property issues, litigation, infrastructure development, immigration issues, and player contracts. The panel will also discuss those and similar issues relating to global sporting events such as the Soccer and Cricket World Cups and Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Nick will be joined by fellow panelists Jon Oram of Proskauer Rose LLP and Matthew Kaiser of Global Sports Advocates, along with moderator Jodi Balsam, a professor at Brooklyn Law School and NYU School of Law.
