Helen P. (Nellie) Hunter is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group.
Nellie’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including art, entertainment, and insurance recovery matters. She represents diverse clients such as museums, major retailers, high net worth individuals, and prominent figures in the music and entertainment industries.
Nellie has also represented pro bono clients in coordination with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Her Justice.
During law school, she externed with the Hon. James L. Cott of the Southern District of New York (2022) and with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (2021), and was a legal intern for the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (2020). She was also the Executive Submissions Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems and was a competitor and oral argument coach for the American Intellectual Property Law Association Moot Court program.
Prior to law school, Nellie was a litigation paralegal at a major international law firm.
